Deputy Director of Administration for Mayor Donald R. Grebien in the City of Pawtucket
Tracey M. Giron was born and raised in Central Falls, Rhode Island. She is a first generation Guatemalan-American who has a deep passion for public service, particularly in urban communities. Tracey currently serves as Deputy Director of Administration for Mayor Donald R. Grebien in the City of Pawtucket, making this the third urban community she passionately devotes to. Prior to her new role, she served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Mayor Elorza in Providence, Chief of Staff to Mayor Diossa in Central Falls, and previous to that served as their first female Director of Parks and Recreation and Community Services Department. As a proud daughter of immigrants, she strives to help our latinx community feel more engaged with local government by practicing democracy. Additionally, she prides herself in being a full-time feminist and wishes to continue empowering women to seek leadership positions and escalate to their full potential.
