Sadie graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, having conducted two years of funded research focusing on the effects of climate change on the migration phenology of neotropical birds. During her time at UConn, Sadie had the opportunity to travel around the world with Semester at Sea, shaping her career aspirations to focus on solving humanitarian crises. She is now a logistics coordinator at Edesia, a non-profit dedicated to ending malnutrition in the world’s most vulnerable populations. Sadie is in charge of coordinating Edesia’s international shipments to over 30 countries per year.
