Rising Eighth Grader at Sophia Academy
Hello, my name is Peniel Saidon. I’m an eighth grader at Sophia Academy, an all-girls school in Providence, RI. I am the kind of student that brings up the most random questions and answers that make great points. My favorite subject is math. I like all kinds of sports and love learning about different languages like French, Korean, and Spanish.
I’ve had the best experience while attending Sophia. Because the teachers showed me what I could do to make the world an even better place for everyone and how many smiles I could bring to people’s faces, I was inspired to become a student ambassador. I’ve learned to believe in myself and have confidence. I’ve met so many amazing people and have been inspired by women like Malala Yousufzai who showed me how important education is, Princess Diana who showed me that kindness should be shared with everyone and Kamala Harris who shows me to be independent and powerful. They helped me realize how important my voice is.
