Omama Y. Marzuq is an accomplished and dedicated financial advisor, dedicating 12 years in the financial industry and 8 years of human relationships through selling
accountability courses to real estate investors. Originally of Palestinian & Syrian decent, Omama moved to the US at the age of 3, flee the Gulf War in Kuwait. She received her
high school diploma at the American school of Kuwait and then pursued college in the US. Omama made a difficult decision to drop out of college to take care of her mentally
challenged aunt who ended up moving with Omama.
Omama being ambitious, knew that she wanted to change the dynamics of her future, transitioned from accountability coach to financial advisor. Giving back was something
that was ingrained in her and Omama wanted to make sure that she gave back. She knew that financial planning will be the ticket to help give back in so many ways.
She also got certified in marketing to understand how marketing can help her business clients thrive.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Omama is deeply devoted to empowering and improving women rights, refugees, environment, homelessness, the youth. She sits
on the Love Live Now Foundation board as their event coordinator, She's on the Program and Palestinian committee at her mosque; Islamic Society of Boston Culture
Center, the advisory board for Women Money Matters, and the advisory committee of the Academy of Women Achievers. Omama is very active in her community and enjoys
giving back. She has also helped on political campaigns for various politicians, fundraising, and organizing a bus to go from Quincy to DC for a Palestinian Rally.
Where Omama can be of resource, she will plug in. She is dedicated to DEIB, making sure that everyone is included and belongs; having gone through the LEADBOSTON
2020 cohort with YW Boston.
During covid, Omama interviewed 178 people for a Money & Power in times of Chaos podcast.
Omama is 2x marathon runner and plenty of other races under her belt.
In her downtime, Omama enjoys traveling, reading, writing, and trying new cuisines.
