Community Outreach Coordinator – Office of U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse
Nisa Villareal is the Community Outreach Coordinator for U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse in Rhode Island. She oversees the planning and implementation of outreach strategies throughout the state. Previously, Nisa served as Director of Outreach for the Whitehouse for Senate campaign where she successfully helped lead Sheldon Whitehouse to reelection for his third term in the United States Senate. Prior to politics, she was the general manager of a family restaurant, the Remington House Inn, in Warwick, Rhode Island. Nisa is a first generation college graduate receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. In 2013, Nisa was named the Distinguished Young Woman of Rhode Island. She remains an active part of the Distinguished Young Woman of Rhode Island program.
