Matt Quin, RN, MS Matt Quin, RN, MS, is interim chief operating officer at Women & Infants Hospital. He joined Women & Infants in 2013 as vice president for nursing operations, he was named senior vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer in 2015. Previously, Quin served in several roles at Brigham ad Women’s Hospital including the director of the Surgical, Burn and Trauma Intensive/Intermediate Care and director of Cardiac Sugical Intensive Care, where he led the units’ clinical discipline of nursing.
A graduate of Saint Anseim College in Manchester, NH, Quin earned a master’s of science in nursing at Simmons College. He is an America’s Essential Hospital fellow in the 2015 cohort and is a member of America’s Essential Hospitals, the American Association of Critical Care (AACN), the Organization of the Nurse Leaders (ONL), the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), and Sigma Theta Tau International, the National Nursing Honor Society. Quin has received numerous awards, including the
AACN Circle of Excellence Award for Nurse Leadership, the AACN Gold Beacon Award for excellence in
intensive/prgrssive care and several Partners in Excellence Awards from Partners Healthcare Institutions
