Lenora Lassiter is an Author, Speaker, and Career Readiness and Development Consultant, who believes in bringing everything she has to the proverbial table to shape and equip those navigating through life’s many transitions. This North Carolina-bred “People Builder,” has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Fayetteville State University and her Master’s in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She is a licensed Real Estate agent, certified Life Coach, Certified Professional Resume Writer, and Licensed Minister. Rightfully so, she has earned her creditable moniker and reputation, laying the foundation for being one of Cumberland County’s most sought-after speakers and professional services providers. Her charge, “You were born with a purpose and that purpose is to pour into the lives of others,” is evident in her impact.
As a former Contractor Installation Manager and Career Counselor, she developed a keen discipline for leadership, career readiness, and development with a specialization in military family and personnel. Her expertise has led to creating partnerships and developmental programs with educational institutions, generating career opportunity pipelines for 20K+ Military families and personnel. Equally, while gaining insight into government, civic, public, and private infrastructures, providing deliverable outcomes in the realms of project management, organizational leadership, marketing, and logistics operations.
Utilizing her gifts, skills, and talents, she established Sister Pour Into Me (SPIM), a Women’s Empowerment initiative. Formed with a simple, necessary purpose of empowering and strengthening women across the nation and determination to tear down barriers of defeat and self-doubt that have plagued women for centuries. SPIM strives to speak life and healing to women who have been hurt and wounded through the happenstances of life. SPIM provides a platform for women to share their stories, be transparent, and serve as living testaments of not just conquering but overcoming the challenges that stifle their advancement. SPIM focuses on mental health, self-worth, purpose, finance, health, wellness, and much more. In addition to SPM, Lenora provides her signature Pour Out H.EA.R.T empowerment workshop. H.E.A.R.T is an acronym for Hurt Anger Emotions Anger Resentment Truth. This workshop assists in leading women on the path to overcoming hurt, betrayal, and limiting beliefs in order to live the best version of themselves. As portrayed in her latest book, Fighting From Darkness, How Long Will You Overcome Greatness, Lenora shares the advantage of Pouring out her heart as she shares details of her story of overcoming low self-esteem and the effects of being bullied due to the color of her skin.
In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, bowling, traveling, or making memories with her loving husband, Harold, family, and friends. Also, she is involved with the women’s and youth empowerment programs at her church, Mt. Nebo Fellowship Church.
