Ashlee Accetta, Fidelity Investments
Ashlee Accetta is manager of Community Relationswithin the Communications, Public Affairs and PolicyGroup, a division of Fidelity Investments, a leading provider of investment management,retirementplanning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing,and other financial products and servicesto more than 26 million individuals, institutions,and financial intermediaries.
Since beginning her tenure at Fidelity in 2015, Ms. Accetta has served as a member of the company’sNew England Community Relations team,managingforthe Rhode Island regional office. In her role, sheoversees Fidelity’s employee volunteer program, branded as Fidelity Cares, which draws on associates’insights and experience to help provide students in need with an educational foundation to feel moreconfident, make smart decisions, and achieve personal and financial goals.
Prior to joining Fidelity in 2015, Ms. Accettagained extensive event planning experience and knowledgethrough several management positions held within the Rhode Island hospitality industry.
Through research, Fidelityhas recognizedthat a solid foundational education is needed to truly benefitfrom financial education programs needed for long-term success. Therefore, Fidelity Cares takes a two-part approach to their education efforts in partnership with well-respected non-profit organizations andlocal school systems.During 2018, Fidelity Cares, on a national scale,engaged more than12,000employee volunteers with more than70% of volunteer hours focused on education and financialeducation projects and non-profits. More than70,000 students and nearly 4,500 teachers weresupported through mentoring, tutoring, financial literacy training,physical projects, and more.
Ms. Accetta is a born and raised Rhode Island native, University of Rhode Island alumna, and currentlyresides in East Greenwichwith her husband, and one-year-old son
