Ana Duque (she/hers) is the co-owner of Rhode Island’s first Zero waste refill station & wellness store; The Heal Room, located in Pawtucket, RI. She is 27 years old and was born in Quindio, Colombia. Ana graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology in 2017 from the University of Rhode Island & taught Physical Education & Health for 3 years. She has dedicated the past 3 years of her life to social entrepreneurship, social justice, low waste advocacy & building a successful business with “New Earth” in mind that includes health & justice for all. Ana recently completed 200 hours of Hatha-Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training & is looking forward to being a student & a teacher of this beautiful ancient knowledge.
