Dr. Lopes has over 20 years of experience in mental health across various inpatient and outpatient settings. She works with a variety of mental concerns and approaches treatment from a biopsychosocial and culturally sensitive view. Dr. Lopes is married and has 3 children. She is passionate about the field of mental health and its future. Dr. Lopes graduated from the University of Akron with a Ph.D in Counseling Psychology, Columbia University with Master of Arts in Developmental Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston College.
