My name is Stacy Monteiro Mendes. I graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science,a Bachelor of Arts in French and Francophone Studies and a minor in Biology. For the past five years, I have been a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in Molecular Diagnostics at the Rhode Island Department of Health. In addition to being a scientist, a couple of years ago I started a blog , Stacemendes.com. This blog is a creative outlet that I started for fun. This blog includes a variety of topics including useful information like budgeting, but while also incorporating other things I love like fashion, food and traveling.
