Alejandra Peña is a bilingual human capital advocate, adept with 15+ years of experience engaging and developing results-driven leaders and
teams (in both for-profit and non-for-profit sectors). As a practiced talent strategy specialist and performance coach, she inspires and
fosters individuals’ sense of self-awareness to help them grow and leverage their strengths, while optimizing performance for their
organization’s success. Alejandra joined Eastern Bank in 2006 and is a Vice President Sales and Service Coach supporting the Retail Banking
Franchise.
Alejandra is a strong believer in paying it forward and has contributed in meaningful ways to Boston’s communities and surrounding gateway cities. She is the founding chair of the Latino Employee Resource Group at Eastern Bank, where she frequently leads volunteer efforts supporting corporate initiatives that advocate for the well-being of communities of colour, especially for the Latino community. Additionally, Alejandra is the chairwoman at Conexión Inc. leading the Teen Talks program which inspires diverse youth to strive high in their career aspirations and to become future leaders / meaningful contributors for their communities. She also serves as a member of the Board of Overseers for Boston Children’s Museum and has volunteered as a mentor and coach in the ALPFA Boston’s Chapter Latino Coaching & Mentoring program. Alejandra has received many recognitions for her accomplishments and volunteer contributions throughout her career. Notably, she was awarded Eastern Bank’s Corporate Core Values Award “Diversity & Inclusion Advocacy,” the True Blue’s Best Award “Leader of the Year,” and was most recently inducted in her company’s highly selective President’s Club. She has also been featured in the Boston Business Journal twice for her leadership. Alejandra graduated from Arizona Western College and the New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College. In addition, she completed two executive mentoring and leadership programs with The Partnership Inc. and Conexión Inc. She is a Leadership Coach accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), having obtained two coaching certifications; Professional Leadership Coach and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. She is also a Talent Optimization certified consultant by Predictive Index. Alejandra was born and raised in Baja California, Mexico and relocated to Massachusetts in 2003. She enjoys traveling, connecting people, and volunteering in her community.
