Reggie Jean is currently directorofthe Boston University Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math Science programs. The Upward Bound programs work with Boston and Chelsea public high school students to help students go to and be successful in college. Hebecame a full-time UB staff member in 2001 and became director of Upward Bound in 2015. Reggie earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology, with a focus in Social Studies Education, and a Master’s in Administration in Education from Boston University.
Reggie is married to Ruthie Jean, who also serves as an administrator at Boston University. Reggie and Ruthie were also classmates at BU and were featured in an article, entitled BU Love Stories, about how they met. They live in Boston and have twin girls.
