Essence Lee Souffrant is a vibrant leader with over 8 years of experience in marketing and sales. She’s worked in several industries from film, TV, marine transportation and automotive leasing before finding her niche in marketing and advertising. She has a BA from the University of New Orleans in Film, Theater, Communication arts and a master’s from Emerson College in Integrated Marketing Communication.
After earning her master’s, she accepted an opportunity to work on the Ahold USA account at Digitas. While at Digitas, Essence eventually transitioned to the Back of America account where she worked across several business lines from, small business to wealth management and eventually landing on the Consumer and Better Money Habits social media account. During this time, she honed her skills in social media by launching new channels and test and learn strategies for the financial leader. She went on to move to The Creative Agency at Sallie Mae where she led several digital, print, and influencer campaigns.
Essence currently works for Stop&Shop in digital and loyalty marketing where she leads campaign execution and planning across email, social, digital, and web. She’s a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. When she’s not working she enjoys family time with her husband and two daughters.
