Manager of Public Affiars and Traffic Safety Programs, AAA Northeast
Diana Imondi is the Manager of Public Affairs and Traffic Safety Programs as well as a corporate spokesperson for AAA Northeast, headquartered in Providence, RI. She manages AAA’s traffic safety outreach including driver safety for seniors and teens, offender programs for young drivers, pedestrian, bicycle, and child passenger safety education. AAA Northeast’s programs are based on research from the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety and curricula is developed for public education. She is the recipient of the 2015 Highway Safety Champion Award for the Rhode Island Department of Transportation.
Diana serves as the chairs the Transportation Committee for Age Friendly Rhode Island where she is looking to create more volunteer driver programs. She is also Vice President of Safe Kids Rhode Island, a coalition that aims to educate families about preventing child injuries.
Diana is a 2019 candidate for a Masters in Public Administration from Roger Williams University and holds degrees from Emerson College in Boston, MA, and Endicott College in Beverly, MA. Prior to her position at AAA, Diana worked in the field of K-12 education as both a middle school teacher and an education director.
